Mixed Semi Senior | Letchworth | £28,000 – £36,000 | Permanent A long-established, progressive accountancy practice is looking for a Mixed Semi Senior to take on a varied client portfolio and step up into more responsibility. The work is largely general accounts for owner-managed businesses and individuals, with some tax alongside, and you will have real support and a clear route to Senior. This is a role for someone who wants variety, not a single production line. You will deal with clients directly, see jobs through from start to finish and be trusted to manage your own deadlines, with a friendly team around you and Partners who are easy to reach. What you'll be doingPreparing year-end accounts and supporting working papers for a mixed portfolio of clientsHandling tax computations and returns for individuals and small companiesReviewing the work of junior colleagues and helping them developDealing with clients by phone, email and in person, and keeping them informedKeeping on top of your own workload and deadlinesWhat you'll bringPrevious practice experience in accounts preparation, with some exposure to taxAAT qualified or part-qualified (ACA or ACCA)Confident with accounting and tax software (cloud packages a plus)A tidy, organised approach and good communication skillsReasonable commuting distance of Letchworth (roughly 45 minutes)What's on offerSalary £28,000 – £36,000, depending on experienceStudy support towards your next exam, where relevantA friendly, established team and a clear route to progressionInterested?
