COREcruitment is partnering with an established premium restaurant group on the search for a Sous Chef for its high-volume Pan Asian restaurant in East London. This Sous Chef role is all about delivery: running busy services to spec, supporting the Head Chef and developing the team. The client is looking for a Sous Chef who can start within two weeks.

The Sous Chef role

Support the Head Chef in the day-to-day running of a high-volume kitchenRun services of up to 600 covers a day, across à la carte and private diningDeliver every dish to group specs, with consistent standards on every serviceManage and supervise junior chefs across all sectionsTrain the team on dishes, specs, food safety and kitchen standardsSupport with ordering, stock control, rotas and food safety recordsHelp the kitchen hit its monthly performance targets

About you

Sous Chef experience in a premium, high-volume restaurantPan Asian, Japanese or Southeast Asian kitchen experience strongly preferredWok, robata grill or live-fire experience an advantageOrganised, calm under pressure and confident leading busy servicesA hands-on trainer who brings junior chefs onAvailable to start within two weeks
