Cloud FinOps Lead / Practitioner Role:              Cloud FinOps Lead / Practitioner  Type:              Contract Rate:               £700 to £750 per day (outside IR35) Duration:        6 months Location:       Remote (occasional required to be in the office in Northampton)   My client, a leading financial services company are looking to recruit a Cloud FinOps Lead on an initial 6 month contract to act as a trusted connection between Finance and IT and help to  deliver and embed a consistent approach to effectively managing their resources within the cloud.

  Key Knowledge & Experience;Demonstrable experience within a Cloud FinOps/Cloud spend role within a large professional environment.Strong understanding of public cloud players (e.g., Azure), their product portfolio and commercial models.Advanced knowledge and understanding of Azure cloud services and billing semantics.Advanced knowledge of Power BIExperience working in a regulated environment.Knowledge of financial services industry and regulationsUnderstanding of the key drivers, concepts, and language that Finance, Procurement, Service Management and/or Technology teams use day-to- day.Strong financial analytical skills and attention to detail.Azure Fundamentals/Azure Fin Ops foundational certifications (preferred)
