Private Client Solicitor / Legal Executive - Head of Private Client

An opportunity has arisen for a Private Client Solicitor / Legal Executive to join a law firm specialising in family law, private client matters and property law, with a focus on legal expertise and client care. As aPrivate Client Solicitor / Legal Executive, you will manage a varied private client caseload, support the development of the team and contribute to the department's performance and growth. This role is primarily office-based, with some flexibility for home working offering a salary of £40,000 - £60,000 and benefits. You will be responsible for: ? Managing your own caseload covering Wills, probate and Powers of Attorney, with Court of Protection and deputyship matters where appropriate. ? Advising clients on a range of private client matters, including services for older clients. ? Maintaining accurate and efficient case files in line with internal procedures, regulatory requirements and professional standards. ? Working towards agreed fee-earning and time-recording targets. ? Developing client relationships and contributing to business development and marketing activities. ? Supervising and mentoring junior team members, including supporting another solicitor in developing their expertise in more complex trusts, probate and estate administration matters. ? Maintaining the department's Wills and Inheritance Quality Scheme (WIQS) accreditation. What we are looking for ? A qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive ? Approx. 5 years PQE in private client law is highly preferable. ? Ideally have STEP qualification or membership. ? A client-focused, practical and flexible approach to work. ? A strong track record of independently managing a private client caseload covering the full range of relevant matters. The candidates from the following background will be considered: ?
