Shift Electrical Maintenance Engineer – Chancery Lane – £56,000 Package + HVAP

Got your HVAP status and a strong electrical background? This landmark, multi-tenanted commercial building on Chancery Lane needs an engineer who's confident around HV/LV systems and wants to work somewhere that actually invests in its plant.

CBW Staffing Solutions is recruiting on behalf of a leading FM provider for a Shift Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join this flagship contract on Chancery Lane, London.

The role pays £48,000 plus a £5,000 shift allowance and £3,000 HVAP payment, working a continental shift pattern of 07:00–19:00, 4 on 4 off, covering both days and nights, on a permanent basis.

The Role:
Carrying out PPM and reactive maintenance across the electrical infrastructure — distribution boards, switchgear, UPS, generators, lighting and power circuitsFault-finding and rectification on electrical systems and building services equipmentOperating under LOTO procedures and taking ownership of HV safety and compliance where HVAP certifiedMonitoring building systems via the BMS and responding to alarms accordinglySupporting mechanical and HVAC systems as needed, alongside the core electrical workloadWorking within the Permit to Work system and supporting statutory complianceOverseeing specialist subcontractors on electrical worksManaging site logbooks, RAMS and maintenance recordsKeeping plant areas clean, secure and in excellent working orderProducing near-miss reports and contributing to site H&S complianceWhat You'll Bring:
A recognised electrical qualification (C&G/NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation or equivalent)HVAP status or a genuine willingness to work towards itA strong track record in commercial building services with an electrical focusConfidence with BMS and CAFM platforms (Maximo experience is a bonus)Ability to read electrical schematics and diagnose faults under pressureSharp communication skills and a proactive, safety-first mindsetWhat's On Offer:
