Our client, a leading professional legal services firm, is seeking a Project Accountant to join their finance team.

You will be responsible for delivering analytical financial modelling to support the firms evaluation and delivery of projects.

This includes providing expert insights and guidance to continuously improve financial processes that support the firm in achieving its strategic objectives.

You will be responsible for developing bespoke pieces of work, each with agreed objectives and timelines.

Duties:

? Creating detailed and thorough financial modelling of investment projects to aid commercial decision-making based on financial reasoning
? Delivering modelling for budgeting, forecasting and cash-flow management
? Working with key stakeholders to develop financial processes, reporting, and project support
? Developing advanced Excel models using VBA, Macros, and other relevant tools
? Preparing charts and visuals to communicate analysis and project insight
? Providing input into the development of finance-related reporting content and enhancing the suite of actionable and insightful content
? Maintaining and developing key financial content such as partner statements


Requirements:

? Have 3-5 years of relevant experience in financial analysis and modelling
? Experience of Finance project work with proven record of problem solving and process enhancement
? ACCA / ACA or CIMA qualification
? Advanced Excel skills with knowledge of VBA / Macro development
? Knowledge of the legal industry or professional services is preferred
? Experience of SQL and analysis of financial databases(desirable)
