An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Account Director to join an independent, full-service media planning and buying agency.
They work closely with social platforms to ensure they are on the edge of developments.
The Role:
You will form an integral part of the Account Management department, overseeing client accounts and managing junior members of staff.
They are looking for someone who has a can-do attitude and can do some more lower-level tasks when required but will be able to focus on managing and delegating to their team and lead from the top.
Duties:
? Take charge of pitching and presenting to clients.
? Maintain regular communication with clients and oversee day-to-day account operations.
? Develop campaign strategies that go beyond the Senior Account Manager/Account Manager level.
? Lead the team members handling all active accounts, ensuring they deliver results and excellent client service.
? Create and execute complete media plans, with team support from start to finish.
? Manage client budgets and goals while forecasting pipelines internally.
? Offer comprehensive client service, including attending meetings, devising budgets, and increasing media spending.
? Negotiate with media owners, upsell to clients, and pursue new business prospects.
Requirements:
? Minimum 5 years of experience in an agency(mid to senior level) or as a media owner
? Excellent understanding of the media landscape across all channels
? Ability to upsell and trade to maximise business profitability
? Capability to create and deliver media plans
? Knowledge of audience insight planning tools
? Confident in client pitches and presentations.
