Vehicle Parts Administrator - Peterborough- £21-23k
Salary: £21- £23K - Permanent
Our client is looking for a Vehicle Parts Administrator to join their team, managing the parts inventory and coordinating with engineers.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the inventory of vehicle parts, managing purchase orders, maintaining accurate records, and coordinating with the service department to ensure timely delivery of parts.
Process and pick parts required by service engineers.
Provide office administration support.
Follow-up on outstanding service jobs and communicate with the service manager.
Assist with booking in and picking from stores as necessary.
Provide cover for absent team members.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Suggest and implement new ideas to improve our continuous improvement program.
Handle telephone enquiries from both internal and external sources.
Respond to parts enquiries and work closely with the parts team.
Continuously improve internal processes and efficiency.
Identify areas of need and report to the line manager.
Perform any duties not specifically listed but which are necessary for the company's best interests.
Ensure compliance with the company's Health and Safety Policy.
