Housekeeping Assistant

We’re seeking a reliable and hardworking Housekeeping Assistant to join a supportive team within a specialist care setting in the Conwy area on a temporary basis for approximately 3 months. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who takes pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene and wants to help create a clean, safe and welcoming environment for service users, families and staff.

In the Housekeeping Assistant role, you will be responsible for:

Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the premisesCleaning communal areas, bedrooms, bathrooms and other designated areasFollowing infection prevention and control procedures to ensure a safe environmentEnsuring cleaning equipment and materials are used safely and appropriatelyHelping to create a warm, welcoming and comfortable environment for service users, families and staffWorking collaboratively with colleagues to ensure all housekeeping duties are completed to the required standard

To be considered for the Housekeeping Assistant role, you must have:

Previous cleaning or housekeeping experience is desirable A strong work ethic and a reliable, flexible approach to workExcellent attention to detail and pride in maintaining high standards of cleanlinessAn understanding of the importance of hygiene and safe working practicesThe ability to work independently and as part of a teamA compassionate and professional approach when working in a care environmentYour own transport, as the workplace is located in a rural area of Conwy

This is a temporary position for approximately 3 months, working 37.5 hours per week, including a weekend rotation. The salary is equivalent to £12.71 - £12.96 per hour + holiday (depending on experience). 

The role is based in a rural location near Conwy, so access to your own transport is essential.
