Fire Door Joiner - Manchester - North West and Yorkshire 

CBW Staffing Solutions are hiring for an experienced Joiner/Carpenter to join our facilities management client’s team on a permanent basis. As a Fire Door Joiner, you will play a vital role in ensuring that fire doors meet stringent safety standards and comply with regulations, carrying out the installation, maintenance, and inspection of fire doors.

This role will be working across sites which span across the North West & Yorkshire.

Package

Responsibilities

Installation of fire-rated doors and door sets to the highest standardsCarrying out remedial works on existing fire doors to ensure compliance with fire safety regulationsConducting fire door surveys and inspections, identifying and addressing defectsEnsuring all work is completed to meet the standards of BS 8214 and any other relevant fire safety regulationsWorking collaboratively with site teams, clients, and project managers to deliver projects on time and to a high standardMaintaining accurate documentation of work completed
Requirements

NVQ Level 2/3 in Carpentry & Joinery or equivalent qualification (essential)FIRAS, BM Trada, or similar certification (essential)Strong knowledge of fire safety regulations and compliance standardsA full UK driving license (essential)
