Mental Health Team Leader – Social NavigationCardiff£23,365.24 per yearAA/CF/11322/3 A leading Welsh charity is now looking for an empathetic and organised Mental Health Support Worker to join them as a Team Leader for their Social Navigation Team, helping to facilitate an effective integrated mental health service across Cardiff and The Vale.The charity as a whole provides comprehensive aid to vulnerable people with mental health, addiction & related conditions who are facing difficult circumstances, such as with substance misuse, the criminal justice system, or loss of sufficient housing/ employment.The Social Navigation Team in particular works with local healthcare services to support people with complex mental health needs to make informed choices about their lives, enhance their social skills, and take an active role in the community.As a Mental Health Team Leader, you will support and supervise your junior team as they interact with service users – co-ordinating their activities, recognising their achievements, and addressing any issues and concerns that arise to deliver an optimised, person-centred service.This is a permanent, full-time position (37.5 hours/week) for a Mental Health Team Leader (Social Navigation). Person specification:You must have previous experience of working with people who are disadvantaged and/or experiencing mental illness/substance misuse issues.NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent) is preferred but not essential. Benefits include:
