Community Incident & Support Account Manager - Temporary until December 2027
Have you supported people through crisis, displacement or significant life changes? Bring your experience to a role where thoughtful, consistent support matters.
Join the Mining Remediation Authority as a temporary Community Support Account Manager, supporting residents affected by a major incident. You’ll need hands-on experience of supporting individuals or families through serious disruption over time and coordinating practical support.
You’ll be a familiar, reliable contact, listening to individual needs, sharing clear updates and following up concerns. Working with operational and technical teams, customer service colleagues and partners, you’ll coordinate support and communicate openly about what is known and what happens next.
Your background might include homelessness or resettlement services, housing support, family support, or community incident response. Equivalent experience is welcome: what matters is sustained, direct support through challenging personal circumstances, rather than general customer-service experience alone.
You’ll bring empathy, resilience and sound judgement, respecting residents’ needs and choices. The work can be emotionally demanding, so professional boundaries, accurate records and knowing when to seek or escalate support are important. Previous incident-response experience is welcome but not essential.
If this reflects your experience, we’d love to hear from you. To find out more about the role, take a look at the job description.
