Our client is a reputable bakery brand, renowned for its artisanal craftsmanship, premium product lines, and presence across multiple international markets. Due to the confidential nature of this mandate, the brand's identity will be disclosed only to shortlisted candidates.

We are looking find an exceptional Head Baker to lead the brand's bakery operations and uphold its legacy of French baking excellence.

The Role

As Head Baker, you will be the guardian of the brand's baking identity. You will report to senior leadership and take full ownership of the bakery's production quality, team development, and innovation — while respecting the traditional techniques that define authentic French baking.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead, train, and inspire a team of bakers and pastry staffOversee daily production of breads, viennoiserie, and specialty French productsGuarantee consistency, quality, and authenticity across all product linesDevelop seasonal offerings and new products in line with the brand's standardsManage ingredient sourcing, supplier relationships, and cost controlEnsure full compliance with hygiene, food safety, and HACCP standardsSupport international rollout of baking procedures and knowledge transfer across markets

Key requirements:

5+ years of experience in artisanal French baking, including at least 3 years in a senior/leadership roleMastery of traditional French techniquesProven experience managing and developing a production teamStrong knowledge of food safety regulations and production planningFluency in English and FrenchInternational mindset — willingness to work in a multicultural, cross-border environment A true craftsman at heart, with uncompromising standardsA natural leader who enjoys mentoring and elevating othersAdaptable, discreet, and professional in a confidential environmentSignificant experience and seniority — this is not a junior roleFamiliar with a laboratory-style environment with large-scale production volumesAble to combine management, quality, and high volume simultaneously This is a long-term management position — the brand is looking for a Head Baker ready to commit and grow with the team over time
