Senior Air Conditioning Engineer

An opportunity has arisen for a Senior Air Conditioning Engineer / Technical Lead to join an established heating and cooling business serving domestic and commercial customers across the Midlands. As a Senior Air Conditioning Engineer / Technical Lead, you will lead technical development, train and support engineers, and carry out air conditioning installations, servicing and repairs across the Midlands. This role offers salary range of £48,000 - £60,000 plus overtime opportunities and benefits. You will be responsible for: ? Installing, commissioning, maintaining and repairing split, multi-split, ducted and VRF/VRV air conditioning systems across domestic and commercial properties. ? Training heating engineers in air conditioning installation and maintenance, while mentoring and supporting colleagues. ? Advising surveyors on air conditioning surveys, system design and equipment selection, and supporting their technical development. ? Leading ducted and VRF projects and providing on-site technical guidance to other engineers. ? Carrying out scheduled maintenance to manufacturer standards, explaining faults and repairs to customers, and maintaining accurate job and F-Gas records. What we are looking for: ? F-Gas Category 1 qualification. ? Air conditioning experience, including ducted and VRF systems. ? Experience installing air conditioning systems in both domestic and commercial settings. ? Background in training, mentoring or supervising engineers. ? Familiarity with Daikin, Mitsubishi, Haier, Toshiba, Fujitsu or similar air conditioning systems. ? Strong electrical fault-finding skills and a sound understanding of controls. ? A full UK driving licence. The candidates from the following background will be considered: ?
