Fabricator

Recruit4staff are representing a well-established cold storage solutions manufacturer in their search for a Fabricator to work in Ellesmere Port.

Job Role: The Fabricator will be involved in the refurbishment and conversion of shipping containers into cold storage units. Daily tasks include fabricating units and steel components to customer specifications using tools such as press brake, bandsaw, and guillotine. MIG welding and mechanical assembly are key parts of the role. Additional duties include finishing tasks such as sealing and painting, along with quality inspections of completed work.

Job Details:

Essential Skills & Experience:

Fabrication of steel productsUsing workshop machineryExperience using hand & power toolsRead from engineering drawings

MIG WeldingMechanical fitting & assemblyManual Painting

Essential Qualifications:

City & Guilds in Fabrication or Engineering discipline or equivalent

Desired Qualifications:

MIG Welding courseFLT Licence
