Head Chef - Contract Catering

Salary: Up to £60,000 + Paid Overtime
Location: Central London
Hours: Monday-Friday | Predominantly daytime

I'm recruiting a Head Chef for a prestigious financial institution in Central London, leading a large workplace dining and hospitality operation.

This is a brilliant role for a creative chef who can deliver an exciting 800-cover retail offer alongside high-end corporate hospitality and fine dining.

The Operation

Around 1,600 people based on-siteRetail serving up to 800 coversBreakfast and lunchMultiple food countersLarge deli and salad offerHospitality from working lunches to fine diningEstablished culinary team of around 10

The Role

Lead both retail and hospitalityManage and develop the kitchen teamDrive food quality and presentationTake ownership of menu developmentCreate fresh, modern workplace diningDeliver refined fine-dining hospitalityManage food costs, labour and kitchen standardsSupport evening hospitality when required

About You

Experienced Head Chef or strong senior kitchen leaderPremium B&I, restaurant, hotel or hospitality backgroundStrong across both high-volume retail and fine diningExcellent menu development skillsCreative and genuinely passionate about foodCommercially aware and highly organisedConfident developing an established team

There's also an exciting major refurbishment planned for the operation, including the development of a completely new kitchen. The Head Chef will have the opportunity to be closely involved in shaping the kitchen and future food offer.
