We’re working with a high-volume restaurant business in Edinburgh who are looking for an experienced and commercially minded Sales & Marketing Manager to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys a hands-on role, building relationships, driving sales and creating exciting marketing initiatives within a busy hospitality environment.

As Sales & Marketing Manager, you’ll take ownership of the venue’s sales and marketing activity, working closely with the General Manager to drive revenue, increase bookings and strengthen the overall customer experience. You’ll also manage and support one Sales & Marketing Coordinator, helping to develop the wider sales and marketing strategy. The role will be a 50/50 split between reactive and proactive sales, so you’ll need to be comfortable managing incoming enquiries while actively seeking out new business opportunities and developing existing relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

Drive sales and revenue across the businessDevelop and implement creative marketing campaigns and initiativesBuild strong relationships with clients, partners and key customersManage group bookings, events and corporate opportunitiesIdentify and develop new business opportunitiesWork across MICE, Leisure, Travel & Tourism marketsManage incoming enquiries and convert opportunities into bookingsProactively develop local business and industry relationshipsSupport the planning and delivery of key events throughout the yearWork closely with the General Manager and wider team to achieve commercial targetsBe hands-on and visible within the business, particularly around events and key trading periods

Ideal Candidate:

Based in Edinburgh with strong knowledge of the local marketWell-connected within the local hospitality, tourism and events industryExperienced across MICE, Leisure and Travel & Tourism Experienced in managing group bookingsFamiliar with OpenTableExperience with Tripleseat would be advantageousIdeally has experience working within hospitality or restaurant group/chainConfident, friendly and naturally relationship-focusedCommercially minded with a strong focus on driving revenueProactive, organised and able to manage multiple opportunities at onceHappy to be hands-on and involved in the day-to-day running of the business
