Reporting to the Test Workstream Lead, you will be responsible for planning, preparing, executing, and reporting testing across multiple phases of testing and coordination/support during Acceptance phases.Main Responsibilities/Duties of the Job Core Responsibilities• Co-ordinate and support business and operational colleagues to prepare test cases, test data and execute acceptance tests, using your experience and expertise to guide on best practice, techniques, and testing efficiencies.• Review and analyse multiple sources of information to determine test basis• Prepare/review test plans and estimates• Prepare test cases, test scripts and test data for System Integration and Data Migration phases• Raising and retesting of defects• Creation and maintenance of a suite of regression tests which can be re-used either in full or in part depending on risk and coverage requirements• Review supplier QA and test outcomes, including test coverage, results, and impact of any unresolved defects, raising risks when necessary• Support software demos and quality gates to senior stakeholders • Prepare and communicate test progress reports and contribute to / chair testing and quality-specific meetingsQualificationsDesirable• ISTQB• Computer Science related degreeExperience, Skills and AbilitiesEssential• Manual Test Analyst – minimum 5 years experience including System Integration, Data Migration and Acceptance Test phases• Working directly with suppliers to create a test model which is mutually complimentary• Critical thinker and problem solver• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision• Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks in parallel• Good interpersonal and communication skills• Experience of Data Warehouse, Power BI, ETL• Experience of testing on ERP projects, preferably in the HR and/or Payroll domain• Self-starter and comfortable working directly with the business as this is predominantly a customer/business-facing role• Minimum 2 days per week required on site in the Huntingdon office, with flexibility to be onsite extra days when in periods of test executionDesirableTest Automation – Cypress IO or similar API Testing / Subcutaneous test experienceInterested in finding out more?
