Customer Service Team Leader
Service care Solution are currently recruiting for a Customer Service Team Manager in Bedford.
Bedford Borough Council are creating a new team within customer services that will be a corporate Freedom of Information / SARs / EIRs alongside complaints feedback work.
Expertise in Information Governance is key.
Need a strong team leader with experience in managing change that could support and train staff in taking on new remits.
This is an exciting opportunity and the role will include –
To log, track and collate social care complaints for children’s and adult’s social services (co-ordinating investigations, panels as required) in accordance with statutory frameworks
To log, track and collate FOI, SAR and EIR requests and responses to the council in accordance with the statutory framework
To log, track and collate Member Case Enquiries
To ensure the team provide an advisory support to service areas across the council both in handling and responding to complaints, member enquiries and information governance requests and also in reviewing lesson’s learned
Provision of statistical and performance reporting to the Information Governance Board and Senior Management Team on a regular basis.
To log, track and collate corporate complaints in accordance with BBC policy
An extensive specialist knowledge of legislation, policy, best practice and systems is required for the following:
Statutory Social Care Complaints for Adults
Statutory Social Care Complaints for Children’s
Corporate Complaint policy
Ombudsman and ICO guidance and case recommendations
Freedom of Information
Subject Access Requests
Environmental Information Requests
Political Awareness and democratic rules of Member Engagement
