Yorkshire Children’s Charity is in search of an experienced Personal Assistant to assist their CEO.

You will serve as the CEO’s primary support, handling various tasks as needed. This role is dynamic and demanding, with each day presenting new challenges. A positive attitude and adaptable approach are crucial for success. This unique opportunity requires resilience, diligence, and determination, given the fast-paced nature of the industry and the role. Flexibility is key as circumstances can change rapidly, necessitating the ability to adapt and tackle any task at hand. A willingness to learn, coupled with a strong work ethic is essential, most importantly though, this role is based on trust and discretion. Initiative, ambition, and energy are prized qualities, as is the ability to foster strong relationships both internally and externally. Exceptional organisational skills, effective time management, and the capacity to meet deadlines are essential, along with meticulous attention to detail. Previous experience working as a PA in a fast paced environment is essential.

Responsibilities include:
Diary management, scheduling calls and meetings, and coordinating eventsHandling daily email correspondence, addressing urgent inquiries on behalf of the CEOProviding private PA support to the CEO, including managing personal appointments and needsMaintaining the office filing system and overseeing proceduresBooking and preparing meeting rooms, as well as arranging refreshmentsConducting general office administration tasks, including answering calls and welcoming visitorsCultivating relationships with supporters and key donorsAttending meetings with the CEO and compiling meeting minutesProviding on-site and off-site support to the events team as requiredEnsuring policies and insurance documents are currentUpdating information packs for Trustee meetingsGenerating reports as requested by the CEO
