Job Title: Commercial Vehicle Technical Trainer
Salary: £45,000 to £50,000 per annum
Hours: Monday to Friday
Shifts: Remote / Hybrid Working with Regular Travel
 
I am currently working Nationwide Bus and Coach Operator who are looking to expand their team with this exciting new Commercial Vehicle Technical Trainer role!

Commercial Vehicle Technical Trainer Responsibilities:

- To maintain the highest standards of safety, meeting all legislative and corporate standards
- Create and maintain a positive and professional learning environment
- Manage the design, delivery and continuous improvement of training programs.
- Utilise a variety of the training methodologies, techniques, concepts, learning tools, and practices to ensure maximum effectiveness of training programs
- Conduct specific training needs assessments to support the design, development, and delivery of training programs
- To ensure the skills and the knowledge of engineering workshop staff and apprentices are kept up to date
- Perform other related duties as assigned or requested

 
Requirements for Commercial Vehicle Technical Trainer:

- Training experience – proficient in training methodologies and soft skills (communication skills, critical thinking, time management, team building, etc.)
- Able to deliver, project and motivate trainees through effective training methodologies both in group and individual classroom dynamics
- Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail/level of quality, communication (written and verbal)
- Be proficient in the use of diagnostic equipment
- Be proficient in the use of electrical diagnostic equipment including oscilloscopes and multimeters
- Hold or be working towards a recognised assessing qualification
- Hold or be working towards an IRTEC vehicle inspection or Master-Tech accreditation
- The ability to support with complex fault diagnoses on vehicles within our fleet
- Computer literate with knowledge of MS office and web-based systems
- High energy, enthusiastic, motivational training style
- Demonstrates effective listening and questioning skills
- To ensure that all relevant assessment paperwork is completed to the correct standard within the timescales agreed with the awarding body (The IMI & SOE)
- Full UK Driving Licence is Essential
