Pay Rate: £19.04 - £21.34p/h  (£19.04 basic + £2.30 holiday pay = £21.34 total)
Shifts: Monday to Friday - Night Shifts 20:00 start time
Licence Type: Class 1 - C+E
Experience: 12 months experience essential

As a Class 1 Driver, your responsibilities may include:
Driving a Class 1 vehicle 1–2 return trunking runs between Wetherby and Sunderland each night.Completing daily vehicle checks and defect reportingDelivering goods safely, professionally and on timeFollowing all Road Transport, Working Time Directive and Driver Hours regulationsCompleting all relevant paperwork and electronic records accurately
What We're Looking For
We are looking for candidates that have good timekeeping, a strong understanding of road transport regulations and a safety-focused approach to driving.
You should be able to work independently, communicate effectively with the transport team and complete deliveries efficiently.

To be considered for this role, you will need:
 
A valid UK Class 1 (C+E) Driving LicenceA minimum of 12 months commercial Class 1 driving experienceA valid UK Driver CPC qualification (DCPC)A valid Digital Tachograph CardA good understanding of Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulationsOur client may accept up to 6 penalty points, however applications with DD, DR, CD, IN or TT endorsements cannot be accepted.
