LOGISTICS ADMINISTRATOR MAIDSTONE UP TO £26,000 BASE + BENEFITS
THE OPPORTUNITY: We’re exclusively recruiting on behalf of a leading and well-respected business located in Maidstone that is expanding their team.

This highly successful business has achieved significant year on year financial growth and has a reputation for investing in their people.

As a Logistics Administrator, you’ll be working closely with the Sales and Operations team to support clients, schedule deliveries, process paperwork for clients and maintain up to date records.

If you are an experienced Sales Administrator, Logistics Administrator, Transport Administrator or Supply Chain Administrator or similar this opportunity is not to be missed!
THE LOGISTICS ADMINISTRATOR ROLE:

As a Logistics Administrator, you’ll support both the Sales Manager and the Operations Director to ensure smooth running of the logistics side of the business
Ensure smooth running of the back office and ensure that Sales & Transport processes are efficient
Maintaining a central database of documents
Creating simple schedules for a vehicle fleet
Speaking with end customers to discuss outstanding high value quotes
Liaising with external finance companies on behalf of the Sales team
Managing all shipping and transport paperwork, streamlining where possible

THE PERSON:

The ideal candidate will be currently working within a Sales Administrator, Logistics Administrator, Transport Administrator or Supply Chain Administrator position.

However, my client is open to considering candidates who have extremely strong administration skills or an individual who comes from a Plant Hire / Tool Hire / Hire Desk style position.
Excellent communication skills who is able to coordinate activities between multiple departments, external suppliers & customers
Highly organised individual who enjoys working within a fast-paced office environment
Computer literate with MS Office and an individual who is used to improving internal processes
