Business Support Officer
We have a vacancy on either an Internal Secondment or fixed term contract which means that you could become a member of our fantastic Private Sector Leasing (PSL) Team providing great services to our customers and landlords and supporting our Local Authority partners to provide homes for those that desperately need them.
The social housing landscape is everchanging and we have made the business decision to wind down the PSL service in order to focus on our own rental homes in our core area around the Home Counties.
Our PSL team is working hard to ensure our strategic decision has minimal adverse impact on our customers and stakeholders.
This means we are maintaining a dedicated specialist team as our PSL homes gradually reduce in number.
You'll gain great experience and will always be busy dealing with customers, landlords and residents, our Property Services team, sub-contractors and Service providers, PSL Operations Manager, Housing Officers, PSL Negotiators, Local Authorities, Utility Companies and our Finance Team
To provide efficient and effective administrative support and be responsible for the management of a portfolio of properties, including managing vacant properties, manging repairs and health and safety compliance.
Will need to be good at stakeholder management when dealing internally and with our landlords and residents alike to ensure their needs are met and balanced with the business objectives.
You will be a team player able to multitask and organise your own work and colleagues so you should have excellent communication skills, verbally and in writing.
Strong attention to detail, excellent administration skills, confident using IT systems and databases with the ability to learn quickly.
