Senior Structural Engineer

Our client is an award-winning engineering consultancy with over 40 years of experience in providing innovative and sustainable design solutions across a wide range of sectors.

They are seeking a talented and experienced Structural Engineer to join their team in London.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years' experience & shall be working on large residential & mixed-used projects.

Responsibilities:


Undertake structural analysis and design using a range of software packages.
Produce clear and concise technical reports and specifications.
Liaise with clients and other design team members to ensure that project requirements are met.
Attend site meetings and provide technical advice to contractors and site teams.
Mentor junior members of the team and contribute to their professional development.
Take an active role in business development activities, including preparation of proposals and attending client meetings.


Job Requirements/Experience:


5+ years structural engineering experience, delivering high-quality projects.
Experience with reinforced concrete (RC) structures.
Able to produce hand calculations and sketches of structural elements.
Experience in the production of specifications, technical reports, and feasibility studies.
Experience using relevant software packages (such as Autodesk Robot, Tekla Structural Designer, or similar)
MEng or BEng in Civil Engineering - or equivalent (desirable not essential).
Membership of a relevant professional body (such as ICE or IStructE) would be advantageous but not essential.
Support towards Chartership status.
