We are looking for an exceptional General Manager to lead one of Central London’s most high-profile and high-volume hospitality venues. This is a huge, fast-paced operation with multiple areas, a packed events and entertainment calendar and a team of 100+ people. There is a huge amount going on across the business, and we are looking for a GM who can bring energy, structure and leadership to the operation, while continuing to drive the commercial performance of a £10m+ business.

This is not a role for someone who wants to sit behind a desk. You will be highly visible, leading from the front, developing your senior team and creating a culture where people want to work, perform and progress.

The General Manager Role

Lead the day-to-day operation of a £10m+ Central London hospitality businessTake full ownership of operational standards, commercial performance and guest experienceLead, develop and motivate a team of 100+ across a complex, high-volume operationBuild a strong senior management team and develop the next generation of hospitality talentDrive sales, profitability, labour performance and operational efficiencyMaintain exceptional service standards across busy trading periods, events and peak nightsWork closely with the senior leadership team to deliver the wider commercial strategyBring fresh ideas, energy and talent into the business and continue to evolve the operationBe highly visible across the venue and create a strong, accountable and positive team culture

The Right Person

Proven General Manager experience within a high-volume London pub, bar, restaurant, late-night or entertainment-led businessExperience managing large teams and complex, multi-faceted operationsStrong commercial and financial understanding, with experience running a £10m+ business or a significant high-volume operationA genuine people leader who knows how to recruit, develop and retain great hospitality talentHighly energetic, hands-on and comfortable working in a fast-paced environmentStrong understanding of London hospitality and what it takes to operate at the highest levelCommercially sharp, operationally strong and confident making decisionsA natural leader who can bring people with them and create a high-performance cultureExperience of events, entertainment, late-night or high-volume trading would be highly advantageous
