Teach South Kent is looking for an enthusiastic and committed Teacher of Food and Nutrition to join a supportive and ambitious team in Kent.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a teacher who is passionate about Food and Nutrition and enjoys inspiring young people through engaging, practical learning.

The Role
As a Teacher of Food and Nutrition, you will:
Deliver engaging and inspiring Food and Nutrition lessons across KS3 and KS4Encourage students to develop their practical skills, knowledge and confidenceSupport students to achieve their full potentialContribute positively to a collaborative and supportive departmentHelp develop students' understanding of nutrition, healthy eating, food science and practical food preparationInspire students who may go on to study GCSE Food Preparation and NutritionAbout the Department
Food and Nutrition is a practical and engaging subject, giving students the opportunity to develop valuable skills alongside their understanding of food and nutrition.
At KS3, students explore the Eatwell Guide and develop their understanding of healthy eating, nutrition and balanced diets.
At KS4, students can continue their studies through GCSE Food Preparation and Nutrition, building their knowledge of food science, nutrition and practical preparation.

The department operates across two campuses, both with spacious and well-equipped food rooms. Facilities include air conditioning, induction hobs and a blast chiller.
You will also benefit from the support of two experienced Food Technicians, with one based at each campus.
