Zero2Five is recruiting for a high-quality private EYFS nursery based near Queen’s Park, caring for children aged 1–4 in a warm, welcoming home-from-home environment.

The role

Provide high-quality physical, emotional, social and intellectual care.Support children’s learning, development, play and exploration.Plan and follow the daily routine within the base room.Build positive, professional relationships with children, parents and colleagues.Carry out clear observations, assessments and reports.Support children with SEND and behavioural needs.Extend children’s thinking, ideas and learning through purposeful interactions.Model positive behaviour and help children overcome challenges and misconceptions.Work confidently with individuals and small groups.Follow all safeguarding, health & safety, equality, confidentiality and data protection procedures.Promote an inclusive environment where every child’s rights and wellbeing are respected.

What we’re looking for

Relevant Level 3 Childcare/Early Years qualification.Previous experience working as a Nursery Practitioner.Experience supporting children aged 0–5, including one-to-one and small-group work.Understanding of child development, learning and behaviour.Experience supporting children with SEND.Experience communicating with parents and families.GCSE Maths and English at Grade C or above, or equivalent relevant experience.A genuine passion for helping young children learn, grow and thrive.A positive, reliable and collaborative approach to teamwork.
