Salary: £50,000 + bonus

Location: Central London

A fantastic opportunity has become available with an exciting new opening in Central London, part of a luxury five-star hotel group with a truly distinctive design and concept. This is a unique opening and the first of several exciting developments planned across the UK.

I am looking for a passionate and experienced Assistant General Manager or Bar Manager who has a real passion for service, standards and creating exceptional guest experiences.

This is a great opportunity to join a new opening from the start and play a key role in establishing the operation, team and service culture.

About the position

Take responsibility for the smooth running of the operation, with a particular focus on bar and guest experienceLead, inspire and develop a high-performing teamDrive exceptional service standards and ensure consistency across every guest touchpointBe hands-on and visible, leading from the front and setting the tone for the teamWork closely with the wider hotel team to deliver an outstanding guest experienceSupport the opening of the venue and help establish operational procedures and standardsDrive sales, upselling and commercial performanceSupport recruitment, training and development of the teamManage rotas, staffing levels and operational costsMaintain the highest standards of presentation, service and compliance

The successful candidate

Will have previous experience as an Bar Assistant General Manager OR, Bar ManagerExperience within a luxury hotel, high-end bar, restaurant or premium hospitality environment is highly desirableA genuine passion for service and delivering exceptional guest experiencesStrong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and develop a teamExcellent knowledge of operational standards and service deliveryA hands-on, positive and energetic approachStrong commercial awareness and an understanding of sales and profitabilityHigh attention to detail and a passion for maintaining exceptional standardsSomeone who wants to be part of an exciting new opening and help build something from the ground up
