We’re partnering with a leading and fast-growing hospitality business operating across restaurants, bars, live events, catering, festivals and destination venues. With an exciting portfolio of premium hospitality concepts and a growing events and commercial division, the business is entering an ambitious new phase of growth and is looking for a Commercial Director to take ownership of commercial strategy and revenue generation across the group.
This is a senior leadership role for someone who understands hospitality commercially, someone who can spot opportunities, drive revenue, build partnerships and turn commercial strategy into real results.
The Commercial Director Role
You’ll work closely with the CEO, COO, marketing and operational leadership teams, taking responsibility for maximising revenue and commercial performance across the estateFrom reservations and yield optimisation through to sponsorships, partnerships, tenders and events, this is a broad commercial role with plenty of scope to shape how the business growsYou’ll be expected to bring structure, commercial thinking and energy to an already successful business, while identifying new opportunities to increase revenue and long-term valueKey Responsibilities
Lead the group-wide commercial and revenue strategy across the estateDrive improvements across reservations, booking pace, table yield, minimum spends and guest spendOwn sponsorship and commercial partnerships across events, venues and experiencesBuild and negotiate relationships with brands, agencies, landlords, developers and corporate partnersLead the commercial strategy for major tenders, venue opportunities and hospitality contractsOversee and elevate the existing event sales function, improving pipeline, conversion and forecastingDevelop stronger commercial reporting and forecasting across reservations, events, sponsorship and revenueAbout You
Proven senior commercial experience within hospitality, restaurants, venues, events or experiential businessesStrong understanding of revenue generation, reservations, yield and premium customer behaviourA proven track record of developing new commercial opportunities and growing revenueExperience negotiating partnerships, sponsorships or major commercial agreementsStrong understanding of events and hospitality salesComfortable working with commercial data, forecasting and performance reportingA confident negotiator and relationship builder with excellent communication skillsExperienced in leading or overseeing commercial and sales teamsEntrepreneurial, proactive and comfortable working in a fast-moving, high-growth environmentSomeone who can combine big-picture commercial strategy with hands-on executionThis is a great opportunity for a commercially ambitious hospitality leader who wants genuine influence across a growing group, with responsibility across revenue, partnerships, events and strategic growth.
