Our client specialise in providing civil and structural design services to a wide range of clients operating in different sectors.

They are currently seeking a Chartered Senior Civil Design Engineer MICE or MIStructE with experience in designing and managing projects from conception to completion,

Their works include: civil and structural design of substations, industrial premises and water treatment

Duties:

? Providing engineering support and advice including production of design calculations.
? Designing of steel and concrete structures (BSEN1990-1999)
? Producing accurate and detailed calculations utilising TEDDS software
? Working with current National Design Standards and client specifications
? Project Management and delivery of civil design projects
? Providing conceptual designs, and detailed designs as well
? Assessing existing structure condition.
? Deliver compliant design solutions


Requirements:

? Must be a Chartered Engineer( already achieved MICE or MIStructE Chartered status)
? Strong knowledge of design software packages including TSD, TEDDS, connection design software
? Interaction use of 2D and 3D CAD packages
? Excellent knowledge of RC & Steel design, and sound analytical skills.
? Experience in independent checking of calculations and drawings is essential.
? Knowledge of electrical substation projects is desirable.
