We're looking for a commercially minded Amazon Account Specialist to join our growing team in Toronto, Canada. Reporting into our North America Client Lead, you'll support the delivery of commercial growth and operational excellence for a portfolio of well-known consumer brands on Amazon. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys working with data, solving commercial challenges, supporting client growth, and building expertise in Amazon Vendor Central and Seller Central.

Working alongside our Account Managers, you'll play a vital role in driving client performance through analysis, operational excellence, communication, and commercial support.

What You'll Do

As an Amazon Account Specialist, reporting into our North America Client Lead, you'll work closely with Account Managers and cross-functional teams to deliver outstanding service and commercial results for a portfolio of brands.

Your responsibilities will include:

Supporting Account Managers with day-to-day client communications and follow-up actionsActing as a key contact point between clients and internal functional teamsMaintaining action trackers and ensuring client requests are completed accurately and on timeSupporting the preparation of monthly reviews, Building Blocks decks, and client reportingEnsuring all presentations are fully annotated and actions are accurately recordedMonitoring Amazon performance metrics including sales, profitability, Buy Box ownership, chargebacks, shortages, and availabilitySupporting promotional planning, forecasting, inventory management, and vendor-initiated orders (BTR)Assisting with new product launches and ensuring accurate product setup within Amazon systemsManaging and maintaining critical account data including promotions, product segmentation, purchase orders, and reporting dashboardsSupporting account health by identifying and escalating operational issuesWorking closely with Advertising, Data, Catalogue and Operations teams to deliver client successDeveloping an understanding of Amazon programmes including: Climate Pledge FriendlyA+ ContentBrand StoresBrand StoryMerchandisingVendor Initiated Orders (BTR) Producing analysis and insights on Amazon developments and presenting key updates to the wider commercial teamContributing to continuous improvement initiatives across commercial processesSupporting the creation and maintenance of knowledge management content and commercial best practices  

What Success Looks Like

You will be measured against a range of commercial and operational KPIs, including:

Growth in shipped COGS (Cost of Goods Sold)Improvement in profitability metrics including Net PPMReduction in chargebacks, shortages and Buy Box suppressionsStrong inventory health and effective BTR managementAccuracy and timeliness of client communications and reportingPositive client feedback and relationship qualityEffective communication and collaboration across departmentsHigh standards of data integrity and account administration  

What We're Looking For

Essential

Strong analytical and numerical skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong attention to detail and organisational abilityExperience in account support, e-commerce, retail, customer success or client-facing rolesComfortable working with large datasets and reporting toolsGood working knowledge of Excel or Google SheetsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentProactive, solutions-focused mindsetStrong time management skills and ability to work independently

Desirable

Experience with Amazon Vendor Central or Seller CentralExperience within e-commerce, marketplace management, digital marketing or retailExperience analysing commercial or performance dataExperience presenting findings and recommendations internally or externallyDegree or diploma in Business, Economics, Marketing, Mathematics, Commerce or a related disciplineFamiliarity with Amazon retail concepts such as Buy Box, cataloguing, promotions, inventory management or advertising
