We’re partnering with a new hospitality destination in Virginia that is looking for a Director of Hotel Sales to help put the property on the map and build a strong book of business ahead of its opening.
This is a great opportunity for a sales leader who enjoys making connections, winning new business and building a team. You’ll play a big part in shaping the hotel’s sales strategy, developing relationships across the market and helping drive strong results as the property grows.
About You
Strong background in hotel sales, ideally with experience leading a sales function at Director level or similarConfident building new business and developing genuine, long-term client relationshipsExperience across corporate, group and negotiated hotel accountsA natural team leader who enjoys coaching, supporting and bringing out the best in peopleCommercially minded, confident with targets and forecasting, and comfortable being out in the market representing the propertyWhat You’ll Do
Build and grow the hotel’s client base, with a focus on bringing in new corporate, group and negotiated businessLead and support the sales team, setting clear goals and helping them turn opportunities into bookingsSpend time in the market meeting clients, attending events and creating new partnershipsKeep a close eye on sales performance, market activity and upcoming opportunities, adjusting the approach where neededWork closely with hotel leadership and other departments to help drive occupancy, revenue and the overall success of the property
