Salary: $110,000–$120,000 annually

Position Overview

We are hiring on behalf of a prestigious resort seeking an experienced Director of Housekeeping to lead the housekeeping operation across a large, expansive property.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining exceptional standards of cleanliness, service, presentation, and guest satisfaction while leading a large housekeeping team.

The role offers a clear career path toward Director of Rooms for an individual who demonstrates strong operational leadership and a broader understanding of Rooms Division operations.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and oversee all housekeeping operations across the resort.Maintain consistently high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and guest service throughout the property.Recruit, train, develop, and motivate housekeeping leadership and operational teams.Establish and maintain departmental standards, procedures, and quality-control programs.Partner closely with the Front Office Manager to ensure seamless communication and coordination across the Rooms Division.Monitor guest feedback and implement initiatives to improve satisfaction and overall guest experience.Manage departmental scheduling, staffing levels, productivity, payroll, and operating expenses.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will be an experienced Housekeeping leader with a strong background in luxury resorts, large-scale hotels, or similarly complex hospitality environments.

Proven experience as a Director of Housekeeping or senior Housekeeping leader.Experience managing large teams and operations across an expansive property.Strong knowledge of luxury housekeeping standards and quality assurance.Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.Strong financial and labor-management capabilities.A hands-on leadership approach and the physical stamina required to operate across a large, spread-out resort.The ability to work collaboratively with Front Office and other senior operational leaders.
