Our products enable oil to flow better, crops to grow fuller, roads last longer, and ensure that the air we all breathe is cleaner.Reporting to the Engineering Manager, with daily instruction from the Indirect Sourcing Lead, the ideal candidate will be CIPS qualified, have a proven background in Procurement with strong commercial awareness and ideally with manufacturing experience.Key Responsibilities
Provide purchasing assistance for the Plant through Coupa & SAP
Monitor live Purchase Orders - Confirm and expedite with suppliers where necessary to stick to required delivery time
Complete goods receipts for items/services received, keeping a record of delivery notes
Assist with new vendor set up, working with stakeholders and master data team
Assist with deliveries to site and the Ingevity Main Office
Assist with RFQ’s, RFP’s and bid evaluations for all indirect sourcing requirements
Review received quotes and ensure technical review is completed
Assist with indirect spend invoice queries in Coupa and ensure timely invoice payments for suppliers
Support the correct filing of all documentation for procurement in the relevant SharePoint folders
Support proactive contract management for Indirect spend
Support proactive supplier relationship management by keeping approved suppliers list up to date
Work with the Indirect Sourcing Lead to guide the wider team on site to meet Global Sourcing cost saving KPIs
What you’ll need to succeed:
3 A Levels or equivalent
Degree level education or equivalent is preferable
Ideally CIPS qualified
Experience in a buyer role
Proven background in Procurement with strong commercial awareness, manufacturing experience is preferred
SAP experience is essential
Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
Able to prioritise and execute tasks in a high-pressure, fast paced environment
Advanced Microsoft Office suite skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio and O365
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
