Fixed Income Dealer

Job Description:
Our client a leading fund management firm is seeking an experienced Fixed Income Dealer to join their team in London.

You will be responsible for Fixed income execution across all markets and products, including derivatives.

Essential Skills/Experience:

Fixed income dealing experience.

High Yield, Investment Grade and rates.
Strong understanding of the investment management industry.
Strong knowledge and experience of trading in all required fixed income instruments,
Strong knowledge of financial markets.
IMC
Strong knowledge of trading platforms (i.e., Bloomberg, Liquidnet, Tradeweb
and MarketAxess).
Broad knowledge of Charles River
Strong written and verbal communication skills, and ability to interact with
senior personnel.
Strong problem-solving skills.


Core Responsibilities:

Responsible for Fixed income execution across all markets and products, including derivatives.
Provide market intelligence to portfolio managers including flow, primary market activity, trade analysis and recommendations.
Execution of orders in accordance with all considerations of best execution.
Provide support to the risk and oversight function.
Liaising with Investment Oversight on best execution queries – including maintaining an adequate audit trail
Ensure that appropriate levels of training and threshold competencies are maintained.
Working closely with Investment operations, in particular trade and settlements queries.
