Job Title: CPCS Slinger Signaller A40
Location: Somerset
Salary: £ 25.00 per hour basic +

MCG Construction is currently recruiting for CPCS Slinger Signaller A40 to join a prestigious project on a full-time basis in Somerset.
Potential immediate start once successful at interview and subject to site security clearance.

Must be flexible and willing to work shift patterns and overtime in line with project requirements.

As a Slinger, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently directing the movement of materials and equipment on the job site.

Responsibilities:

Inspect and prepare lifting equipment before use
Direct the movement of materials and equipment using hand signals, radios or other communication devices
Ensure that loads are properly secured and balanced before lifting
Observe and comply with all health and safety regulations and procedures
Keep accurate records of all lifting operations
Liaise with other team members to ensure the safe and efficient completion of the project


Requirements:

Valid CPCS (A40) Slinger card
Proven experience as a Slinger on construction sites
Strong knowledge of lifting equipment and rigging techniques
Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
Knowledge of health and safety regulations and procedures + health & safety operatives test
Physical fitness and ability to work in all weather conditions
Good time keeping
