Location: Bury, Greater Manchester

Our client is one of the leading chartered accountants and tax advisory firms with more than 80 years of experience.

They are currently looking for an Accounts Senior to join their well-established team.

You will deal with a variety of clients and demonstrate strong technical ability as well as excellent client-facing skills.

Duties:

? Preparing accounts from both trial and balance, books, and records.
? You will work with owner-managed businesses, as well as subsidiaries of large groups.
? Preparing corporation tax computations for review.
? Assisting with the preparation of VAT returns.
? Liaising with the manager and the client to carry out assignments.
? Complete assignments for manager and partner review.


Requirements:

? At least 2 years of accountancy practical experience.
? Have some practical knowledge of corporate and personal tax.
? Training to be ACA, ACCA or AAT qualified
? Be IT literate, including Microsoft products
? Sage and Iris knowledge is an advantage.
? Can work using your own initiative and to be able to work under pressure from time to time to meet deadlines.
? Have a full UK driving licence.
