Location: Bury, Greater Manchester

Our client is one of the leading chartered accountants and tax advisory firms with more than 80 years of experience.

They are currently looking for an Accounts & Audit senior to join their well-established team.

The ideal candidates will be dealing with a varied portfolio of audit/ non-audit clients and have strong technical ability and excellent client-facing skills.

You will be working for limited companies, partnerships, and sole traders.

Duties:

? You will work with owner-managed businesses, as well as subsidiaries of large groups.
? Preparing accounts from both trial and balance, books, and records.
? Preparing corporation tax computations for review.
? You will be carrying out audit work on-site at clients' premises.
? Assisting with the preparation of VAT returns.
? Liaising with the manager and the client to carry out assignments.


Requirements:

? Minimum of 3 years experience in practice
? ACA, ACCA qualified
? have a mixture of audit and non-audit skills.
? Have some practical knowledge of corporate and personal tax.
? Knowledge of Sage and Iris is advantageous
? Be IT literate, including Microsoft products
? Have a full UK driving licence.
