Assistant Quantity Surveyor

MCG Construction are recruiting for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor in West London to assist the Lead Surveyor on a maintenance contract.

The suitable candidate will be degree qualified and have social housing experience.


Duties will include but are limited to the below:

Ensure all applications are submitted in line with the contractual terms
A tracker is in place to monitor all applications submitted and ensure any works rejected are tracked and reissued when appropriate
To price all jobs by their appropriate revenue code to ensure that they are billed correctly
To produce and agree a monthly application
Monitor all costs and assist in the managing of these costs to ensure profitability is maintained.

Requirements:

Degree qualified
Social Housing Experience
Experience Surveying, Pricing and Validating Subcontractor Quotations
Experience Measuring Works, Generating and Agreeing applications
Experience working with typical Pricing agreements & Frameworks within a TPC Contract, which includes mandatory knowledge of NHF Schedule of Rates and Basket Rates
Negotiation Skills

This is a Permanent position with salary up to 45K on offer as well as hybrid working available.
