Junior Support Engineer – Blandford Forum – Up-To £25,000
We are on the hunt for a number of Junior Support Engineers to join a key client of ours based in South Dorset, you’ll be working as part of a growing team of professionals within a supportive and innovative company.
In this role you will be working as part of a team dedicated to the comprehensive delivery and support for innovative products within Telecoms, Data and Cybersecurity industries for clients both within the private and public sectors.

Requirements of the Role:

A passion for IT and computing technology in general
Ability and willingness to work in a fast-paced environment and be able to pivot quickly from one issue to another
Solid communication skills and ideally customer service experience
Knowledge of PC, Server and Networking hardware
Experience with Linux Command Line
Active Security Clearance or the ability to be Security Cleared


Key Functions of the Role:

Work closely with technical SME’s from the engineering team to understand, deliver and integrate new products as well as understanding legacy hardwares
Work on the implementation of new products or enhancements for existing product implementations
Deploying, maintaining and testing of experimental and production hardware or software
Creation and improvement of procedural documentation
Ability to develop a strong understanding of the product portfolio and how to support or implement them
Provide top-notch troubleshooting advice and guidance
Understanding of the importance of SLA’s for client relationships


Travel Requirements:
Within this role there will be a certain amount of travel to client sites within the UK and further afield when necessary for installations and on-site support.
