The Project Engineering Manager – Defence / Aerospace job requires to to be responsible for:
- Working within a team on System Engineering, whilst leading more junior colleagues
- Responsible for all aspects of the systems engineering life cycle from system concept through to delivery and acceptance
- Responsible for ensuring appropriate engineering processes and tools are used
The requirements for the Project Engineering Manager – Defence / Aerospace job are:
- Degree-Qualified or equivalent in Engineering or a related Science.
- An understanding of Systems and Product life cycles from concept through to delivery
- Demonstrable track record leading and developing teams
- Demonstrable experience of managing product design projects
- A sound understanding of design process
- Ability to inspire a team of engineers
An understanding of Radar Systems is desirable, although not essential if other complimentary skills demonstrate a capacity to understand new technologies quickly and efficiently.
