Furniture manufacturer level 2 apprenticeship
Learning all aspects of the furniture manufacturing process, along side gaining a good understanding of the principles of wood, machinery, joints and assembly.
Training:
The apprenticeship program offers a blend of hands-on experience at our factory and structured training sessions with a dedicated provider.
Some of your training will take place off-site, ensuring you benefit from the expertise of specialised instructors.
We prioritise your development, so expect to spend at least 20% of your work hours focused on training and studies.
Training Outcome:
Our expectations for the ideal candidate include the successful completion of the level two apprenticeship, accompanied by the ambition to pursue and complete the Bespoke Furniture Makers apprenticeship at Level 3.

William Hands was founded in 1906 making furniture. We have been manufacturing from the original site on which the company was founded ever since. William Hands is a symbol of the success and evolution of the British furniture industry.
Working Hours :
Monday- Thursday, 7.00am -4.00pm and Friday, 7.00am -12.00pm. 10 minute break daily and 30 minute lunch break Monday- Thursday. 39 hours a week.
