Business Administration Apprentice
Key Responsibilities
You will contribute to the delivery of a high-quality Business Support service by:
Providing flexible administrative and operational support across the Research Office in line with service priorities and business needs Supporting activities, projects and teams that do not have dedicated Business Support resource or require additional support Providing cross-cover for colleagues during periods of leave, absence and peak demand Coordinating meetings, workshops and events, including arranging logistics, preparing papers, maintaining action logs and following up actions Acting as a first point of contact for enquiries, managing shared mailboxes, triaging and responding to routine requests, drafting responses where appropriate, escalating more complex enquiries and ensuring requests are directed to the appropriate individual or team Assisting with the coordination and administration of projects, working groups and service improvement initiatives Preparing and maintaining documentation, guidance, templates and records to support consistent ways of working Supporting the management and development of SharePoint sites, Teams spaces and other collaborative tools Contributing to the continuous improvement of processes, systems and service delivery across the Business Support Function Building knowledge of Research Office activities and maintaining awareness of priorities across multiple teams to support effective cross-cover and service resilience Undertaking other administrative and operational duties as required to support the delivery of Research Office prioritiesTraining Outcome:
The role will provide a sound training pathway to professional services roles across the University

Monday- Friday approx 9am- 5pm
