Engineering Apprentice
As an Engineering Apprentice, you'll work alongside skilled engineers to learn how to install, maintain, fault-find and repair a wide range of manufacturing equipment. You'll gain practical experience in both mechanical and electrical engineering, developing the knowledge and skills needed for a successful engineering career.
What you'll be doing
Assisting with planned preventative maintenance on production machinery and equipment Supporting engineers with fault finding, repairs and breakdown response Learning how to safely use engineering tools, equipment and diagnostic techniques Helping to install and commission new machinery and equipment Completing engineering documentation and maintenance records accurately Following health and safety procedures and food safety standards at all times Working with the engineering team to identify opportunities for continuous improvement Attending college/training as part of your apprenticeship programme and applying your learning in the workplaceTraining:
Training will take place at REAGIT UK Ltd, C/o ATB Laurence Scott, Hardy Road, Norwich, Norfolk, NR1 1JN.
As part of your 30-month apprenticeship with REAGIT, you will begin with 20 weeks of full-time training at their centre (Monday to Friday), where you will build the core knowledge and skills required for the role through both classroom-based and practical learning.
Following this initial training period, you will attend the centre one day per week for the next 72 weeks, continuing your development through a combination of technical training, hands-on practical learning, and valuable workplace experience.
Training Outcome:
It is intended that - providing you successfully complete your apprenticeship - you will become a permanent member of staff.

We have been one of the UK’s largest sushi producers for almost two decades and moved to our current site in Earl Stonham, Suffolk in 2007. Operating 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, we are a well-equipped and heavily invested site that specialises in the art of making sushi for leading UK retailers and supermarkets.
What ichiban means is ‘number one’ in Japanese, and that’s what we always aim to be! We employ over 450 staff on our site from Production Operatives to Engineers, which allows us to complete the whole process of manufacturing from start to finish here in Suffolk.
Working Hours :
Monday to Friday, 8.00am to 5.00pm.
