Groundwork Apprenticeship

You will assist with works including:

• Highway maintenance schemes.

• Footpath and cycleway construction.

• Public realm improvements.

• Park and recreation ground refurbishment.

• Drainage installation and repairs.

• Kerbing and edging works.

• Block paving and paving slab installation.

• Tarmac surfacing and reinstatements.

• Excavation and earthworks.

• Concrete foundations and slabs.

• Ducting and underground utility installations.

• Installation of street furniture including bollards, fencing and signs.

• Landscaping and finishing works following construction.

 

Training Outcome:

There may be the opportunity to progress to a higher level qualification or secure full time employment.

We are a specialist groundworks and civil engineering contractor delivering highways, public realm and infrastructure projects for local authorities, principal contractors and commercial clients.
