Apprentice Site Technician
Assist with the installation of penstocks, valves, actuators, pipework, and mechanical equipment at water and wastewater treatment sites
Learn how to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and site plans
Support mechanical fitting, alignment, assembly, and testing activities
Use hand tools, power tools, and lifting equipment safely and correctly
Assist with inspection, maintenance, and repair of mechanical assets
Participate in site preparation, equipment setup, and commissioning activities
Follow company health, safety, environmental, and quality procedures at all times
Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used
Work effectively as part of a site team and communicate professionally with colleagues and clients
Attend college/training provider sessions and complete apprenticeship coursework and assessments
Training:
Engineering Fitter Level 3.
Training Outcome:
Progress to fully qualified site technician.
