Water Technician Apprenticeship
Undertaking monitoring and inspections of tanks and water systems
Monthly temperature monitoring
Weekly checks on flushing systems
Chlorification of hot water cylinders
Taking water samples for TVC (Total Viable Count) bacteria control in hot and cold water systems
Liaising with independent laboratories
Developing understanding of the flushing rates, heat, and use of thermometers
Maintenance of Thermostatic Mixing Valves (TMV). Ensuring digital values are accurate. Checks, six monthly servicing and annual inspections
Shower head cleaning, descaling and quarterly disinfections
Develop an understanding HSL risk assessments and undertaking remedial works
Training:
Water Treatment Technician Level 3.
An apprenticeship includes regular training with a college or other training organisation. Off-the-job training will follow the time allocations outlined in the occupational standard.

T Brown Group Ltd is an established UK building services and engineering company, headquartered in Leatherhead, Surrey. The business has been operating since 1971 and is an active private limited company. Its registered business activity covers plumbing, heating and air-conditioning installation.
Working Hours :
Age 16 & 17 - Monday to Friday 8.00am - 5.00pm and incorporates an unpaid lunch break of one hour. Age 18 and above - Monday to Friday 8.00am - 5.30pm and incorporates an unpaid lunch break of one hour.
