Warehousing Apprentice

Receive deliveries and check incoming stock against delivery notes Unload, move and safely store stock within the warehouse Pick and prepare customer orders accurately and efficiently Pack goods securely and prepare orders for dispatch Load and unload vehicles safely when required Maintain accurate stock records and assist with stock checks Keep the warehouse clean, tidy and organised Learn to use warehouse equipment and systems safely Assist with stock rotation and ensuring products are stored correctly Support the wider team with day-to-day warehouse duties Provide good customer service when dealing with customers and deliveries Follow all company health and safety procedures and safe working practices

Training:
Level 2 Supply Chain Warehouse Operative A bespoke programme of technical and vocational training Functional skills in maths and English *if applicable

The successful candidate will be assigned a dedicated work-based trainer who will provide support and guidance throughout the course. This apprenticeship is delivered wholly in the workplace; the successful candidate will not need to attend any weekly sessions at the Grimsby Institute unless maths or English is required as part of the apprenticeship



Training Outcome:
Possible permanent contract upon successful completion of the apprenticeship and further enhanced industry-based training An apprenticeship allows you to earn a wage, gain valuable work experience and industry specific competence Transferable skills that are invaluable in the wider world of work

Working Hours :
Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm (1-hour unpaid lunch).
