Junior Surveyor Apprentice
Typical work includes the following duties and responsibilities:
Carrying out site surveys and precise measurements Learning to use equipment such as GNSS, total stations, laser scanners and drones Processing survey data and producing 2D plans and 3D models Working across varied projects, including construction, infrastructure, utilities and environmental work Developing technical knowledge in areas such as GIS, surveying, geodesy and data processing Academy Geomatics is also supporting the Level 3 Geospatial Survey Technician apprenticeship, a 24-month programme combining workplace experience with formal trainingTraining:
Geospatial Survey Technician Level 3 Block release (3 blocks of 2 weeks per academic year) Riverside College, Widnes, WA8 7QQ
Training Outcome:
In the future there may be opportunity for the apprentice to progress to Senior Surveyor level.
